Dr. Michael J. Whitted

Dr. Michael Whitted completed his undergraduate education at the University of Northern Iowa, located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, he went on to attend dental school at the
University of Illinois at Chicago. He is happily married to his wife Anna, and he is a very proud father to his three sons Michael, Johnathan, and Christopher. Dr. Whitted was an
associate dentist in Naperville, Illinois for three years before opening his own practice in South Elgin, Illinois in May of 2006.

Dr. Whitted and his family have fallen in love with the Fox Valley area and are proud to call it “home”. Living within minutes of the office offers a convenience and flexibility to both himself and his patients. Dr. Whitted and his family are involved in the local community and he loves running into patients around town; whether it be at National Karate, Target, a Saint Patrick’s event, or even while out to dinner at a local restaurant.

Dr. Whitted is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Chicago Dental Society (CDS) and the Fox River Valley Dental Society (FRVDS). These organizations allow him to stay up-to-date with all the recent changes in the field of dentistry, through the many hours of continuing education he and his team receives each year.

Dr. Ryan Skale

Dr. Skale grew up in Northbrook, IL and attended Glenbrook North High School where he excelled in academics and athletics as a soccer and lacrosse player. Ryan continued his education in Ohio where he received his bachelor's degree from Miami University and immediately accepted a position at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Following dental school, Ryan was selected to be a dental resident in a competitive program at the Bay Pines VA hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida where he received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry with a focus on oral surgery, root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation while treating medically compromised patients. Dr. Skale began working at Michael J. Whitted & Associates in July of 2009. Currently Dr. Ryan is a member of the Chicago Dental Society and is working towards gaining enough continuing dental education to become a fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. Ryan's clinical skills and calm demeanor have made for an easy transition into private practice.
