Our office practices General Dentistry. We see patients of all ages. As a father of 3 young children, Dr. Whitted really enjoys children and is experienced in working with kids of all ages. We like to see children come in for their first dental visit between the ages of 2 ½ and 3. The vast majority of children can have all of their dental needs met in our office. We really LOVE kids

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards, ATM cards, cash, and personal checks. For our patients’ convenience we have arranged a payment plan through a third party, which helps our patients receive their treatment in a timely manner.

We Accept PPO Insurance Plans

Our office accepts PPO insurance plans and we are preferred providers for most plans. Please check with your insurance company to see if our office name is on the provider’s list, or just call us and we can let you know if we accept your plan.

Dr. Michael Whitted completed his undergraduate education at the University of Northern Iowa, located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry, he went on to attend dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is happily married to his wife, Anna, and he is a very proud father to his three sons Michael, Johnathan, and Christopher. Dr. Whitted was an associate dentist in Naperville, Illinois for three years before opening his own practice in South Elgin, Illinois in May of 2006.
Dr. Whitted is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Chicago Dental Society (CDS) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). These organizations allow him to stay up-to-date with all the recent changes in the field of dentistry, through the many hours of continuing education he and his team receives each year.

Dr. Katherine Staniek is a comprehensive General Dentist that grew up and currently resides in South Elgin. In fact, she was a patient of Dr. Whitted’s prior to joining the office as a doctor. She even shadowed Dr. Whitted as a young girl while her interest in the field of Dentistry was growing. Dr. Staniek is an active member of The Chicago Dental Society, The American Dental Association, The Illinois State Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Polish Dental Arts. She is fluent in both English and Polish.

Dr. Skale began working at Michael J. Whitted & Associates in July of 2009. Recently Dr. Ryan completed a lengthy and challenging Mini Residency and Hands-On Residency program with the TMJ and Sleep Therapy Research Centre, totaling more than 200 hours of continuing education in TMJ pain, clicking/popping, headaches, snoring, and sleep apnea. His board credentialing and extensive training in the treatment of these disorders allow him to treat our patients more effectively.

Our office is open over 50 hours a week to meet the dental needs of our patients!

Monday: 9:00am – 7:00pm

Tuesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Wednesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Thursday: 8:00am – 7:00pm

Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm (twice a month)

Our Location

We are located at 1950 Gyorr Avenue in South Elgin. We are just west of Randall Road. We are adjacent to Kohls, and behind Culvers. If you are headed North on Randall Road turn left when you see Walgreens. Look for our bright RED awnings! We share a strip mall with the Village Pedler Bicycle Shop.
