Meet the Doctors
Dr. Michael Whitted completed his undergraduate education at the University of Northern Iowa, located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry, he went on to attend dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is happily married to his wife, Meghan who is local rockstar realtor. Together they are proud parents to their seven children. Matthew, Michael, Johnathan, David, Christopher, Suzie, and JP. Dr. Whitted was an associate dentist in Naperville, Illinois for three years before opening his own practice in South Elgin, Illinois in May of 2006.
Dr. Whitted and his family love the Fox Valley area and are proud to call it home. Living within minutes of the office offers a convenience and flexibility to both himself and his patients. Dr. Whitted and his family are involved in the local community and he loves running into patients around town; whether it be at a community event, a high school sporting event, or even while out to dinner at a local restaurant.
Dr. Whitted is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Chicago Dental Society (CDS) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). These organizations allow him to stay up-to-date with all the recent changes in the field of dentistry, through the many hours of continuing education he and his team receives each year.
Michael J. Whitted, DDS
Dr. Romal Sediq joined Michael J. Whitted & Associates in 2020. He completed his undergraduate education at the prestigious University of Toronto in Canada where he graduated with honors receiving a BA in Science Biology. He went on to complete his dental training at Case Western Reserve in Ohio where he also graduated at the top of his class and completed his residency at Loyola University in Chicago.
Dr. Sediq is passionate about all areas of dentistry and strives to provide knowledge and the best dental care for his patients.
When Dr. Sediq is not practicing dentistry, he loves spending time with his wife and daughter and playing tennis.
