Dessi received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (graphic design) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She later went back to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She enjoys working in the dental field and meeting new people. Dessi is married and has two sons, CJ and Evan. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends, designing, traveling, and photography.
Erika received her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from College of DuPage. She absolutely loves what she does! She recently said “I love that I can educate my patients, along with building a bond with them every time they come in for cleanings. I also love expanding my knowledge by learning from other experienced Doctors and Hygienists.” When she is not in the office she loves traveling. Some of the places she has visited include Mexico, Puerto Rico, France and Belgium.
Jami began her career in dentistry working with Michael J. Whitted and Associates as a receptionist in 2012. This is where she learned that dentistry is where she wanted to be. She soon began to expand her knowledge by working as a dental assistant while taking prerequisites for dental hygiene school. Jami graduated in 2016 from Harper College. She enjoys educating patients and working towards their hygiene goals. In Jami’s free time she loves running with her German Shepard Leroy, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at the lake. You may not see Jami around the office as much as she recently welcomed her first child, Brooke with her husband Mike but she does help out still occasionally.
Meredith graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Health Science in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She loves what she does and enjoys educating her patients as well as getting to know them. Meredith is married with three children, and also has two dogs and a cat. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as competitive running. She has run over 40 half marathons and 6 marathons!
Tina graduated from Southern Illinois University’s Dental hygiene program in 1993. After graduation she chose to take a job opportunity in Zürich Switzerland for two years. She said the learning experience she took from there was not only valuable, but also rewarding. She loves interacting with her patients, helping them feel comfortable, and guiding them to make informed decisions about their dental health. Since 2005 she has been serving on the advisory Board for the Dental Assisting program at Elgin community college. In her free time, she loves to be with family and friends, she loves to read and she has a very soft spot in her heart for animals.
